SEO Article Writing Service | Highly Effective

Writing content for your website can be a lot of work so you may want to consider getting an SEO article writing service.

SEO Article Writing Service - writing content for your blog can be a lot of work

Any internet marketer worth their salt knows that building a website that will get organic traffic and thus can be monetized needs a huge amount of good quality content. The faster that you can write that content and publish it, the faster your website will rank and traffic will start to be generated.

Wouldn’t it be helpful if you could enlist some help with your writing? Getting a good-quality ghostwriter could honestly shave off months to making the income that you want.

You can focus on monetization, analytics, and optimization while your writer focuses on creating amazing content.

I wish I could say that finding a ghostwriter is easy but unfortunately, it is not. Don’t get me wrong – there are tons of writers out there – but finding a suitable one is another story.

The 4 Criteria for a Good Article Writer

SEO Article Writing Service - tired of writing? how to outsource without going broke - my #1 recommendation

#1: Affordable

There is no point in hiring a person or a service if they are so expensive, they’re going to put you in a situation where you’re paying a lot more than you’re making with your blog.

Eventually, your blog will be self-sustaining but it’s just not a good feeling to have to invest a ton of money into a writer before you make that all back from your blog. Since the whole point is to earn your income faster, you might as well just write yourself.

#2: Excellent English Skills

It doesn’t matter how cheap the writer is if they can’t write well in English. Content that converts is content that’s easily readable like you’re talking to a friend. Not only does the writer have to have good technical English skills (i.e. proper grammar and punctuation) but they also have to be able to write in a way that’s personable.

A lot of ghostwriters like to be very flowery and sales-y in their language. They talk a lot about nothing to achieve the word counts that you hired them to write. Or they go on and on about how “amazing” a product is in a review article.

Unfortunately, readers hate that kind of content. They’re on your website to learn something or solve a problem. They don’t have time to read around in circles for 15 minutes about nothing. If you’ve ever watched a Tai Lopez video, it’s exactly like that and a prime example of what NOT to do if you want to preserve your reputation.

#3: Reliable

Reliability and accountability apply to outsourcers rather than services and companies. I’ve found that often, independent outsourcing that does ghostwrite can be a little bit flaky. They take a while to get things back to you, they have difficulty accepting feedback and modifying their styles and they just don’t get things done when they say they will.

Have a very low tolerance for this type of thing because if it happens more than once that they miss a deadline, it will just keep happening and there are always going to be excuses.

#4: (Bonus) Good Knowledge of SEO

I think of this as a bonus because you can always fix the SEO on the articles that they write using a good SEO checklist; however, it’s nice if you don’t have to. It just saves you that much more time, which you can use to focus on your Off-Page SEO.

I’ve put together the next two lists keeping these criteria in mind. These are the services that I’ve found give you the highest chance of finding someone good or a good company:

Top 3 SEO Article Writing Services

#1: Human Proof Designs

The owner of this website – Byron Brewer – has basically created a system where he makes niche websites monetized through affiliate marketing and then sells them once they start to make money. As a side note, it is living proof that it is possible to make money blogging in 2020.

Anyways, the articles here on Human Proof Designs that you can order are written by the same writers that he uses to build up his affiliate blogs. If those articles work for him to get those blogs ranked and flowing with enough traffic to make money then they’ll work for your blog.

Read my FULL review here: Human Proof Designs Review 2022

The two options for content are monthly subscriptions and article packs.

#2: Textworkers

For about $80/1000 words, this is on the higher end (while still remaining reasonable price-wise) of a website with a group of in-house US-based writers. The nice thing about this service is that they also specialize in Affiliate Marketers and Entrepreneurs.

For free, you can get in content with them and discuss in person exactly what you’re looking for.

#3: HireWriters

This is the cheapest option that still provides reasonable quality writing. You won’t get the highest quality with this service but you always need to balance price with quality. This service is leaning on the side of pricing.

You’re looking at around $60 for a 2000+ word article written by an “expert”. This is about as cheap as you’re going to find without finding an independent writer who has great rates.

HireWriters

The nice thing about HireWriters is that you can reject the content if you don’t like it. You only pay if you like the content that was written. It can be a little annoying having to wait for a new article to be written BUT at least you’re not losing money.

*Extra*

Smartsites.com is also excellent but with a minimum $2000/month investment, they’re probably out of the budget for most. With that, you get a personal project manager to create a ton of content and organically grow your rankings.

Top 4 Places to Get Independent Ghostwriters

#1: Linkedin

If you search for students on LinkedIn, you might just get lucky! Students are generally very eager to make some extra money on the side and can serve as excellent content writers.

They definitely won’t know how to do SEO initially but you can teach them and then once they’re able to implement it you can offer them a raise.

#2: Fiverr

The nice thing about Fiverr is that you can look through candidates rather than having to post jobs. Also as a user that’s looking to hire, it’s free to use. You don’t need to pay anything.

#3: Freelancer/Upwork

You sign up, pay a fee to post a job, get a bunch of replies to your post and then choose a writer. That’s pretty much it. I personally don’t like using these websites

*Important*

Lastly, I just want to say that you can always post an ad on Craigslist or Kijiji as well. Sometimes there are students who are dying for a little bit of extra cash and would gladly do research and write some good articles. Likely, they won’t know anything about SEO but they probably will be more on the affordable site.

My Recommendations

The Best SEO Article Writing Service

Beginner: If I was just starting my own blog and trying to grow it quickly, I would either use HireWriters or try and find a student to write for me. The reason is that I would be trying to keep my costs as low as possible since I wouldn’t be bringing in any income yet. I also wouldn’t mind putting a little extra work into editing and teaching.

Intermediate: If I was actively growing my blog, I would probably use Human Proof Designs. I know that the quality is going to be high and I know the content will be well-researched and optimized for SEO, which will save a ton of time.

Advanced: Lastly, if I was scaling an already successful blog bringing in over 1-2k a month then I would try Smart sites.

  1. Hi Martina, I greatly enjoyed reading your article about SEO Article Writing Services. I think it is really challenging to write enough content when you have a blog, so options for hiring writers is truly welcome. Although, it is almost like putting the cart before the horse. You are not making any money from your blog and you need content, but you can’t afford to hire writers. I’ve found in the past that some Fiverr contractors are quite good and I have recently found an AI tool called Anyword that does a reasonable job of writing an article (so long as you give it the right instruction and edit afterwards). Thanks for sharing this very useful information.

  2. Hiring a writer is a great way of growing a site but the problem some bloggers face is having to spend so much to grow a site that is not generating revenue yet. From paying every month to sustain web hosting to also paying for the domain. It can really be challenging but anyone who can afford it should go ahead because it is also a form of investment, and for those who cannot afford it, continue to create quality content on your own and use the money you make to hire a writer.

    • Thanks for stopping by, Bethel! It’s true, that is definitely one of the things we should consider when hiring an outsourcer.

  3. Thanks for the information provided. Definitely, something to consider.

Creating content can be very time-consuming especially when you are new to the blogging game, as I’ve found.

I like your recommendations from beginner to advance. What I’d like to know is, how much information and instructions do you need to give the writer for it to work to your satisfaction?

    • Hi, Mario! Thank you for the question. In my personal experience, I don’t want to give them too much work that would require intensive knowledge about marketing, managing a business, or any type of work that requires too much business management.

That being said, I would suggest that the first tasks are simple to handle. I mean, I would not just say, for now, you can hire an experienced individual and get them done easily or have an inexperienced one then you’ll be okay to train them. What I mean by this is, that you want to handle a writer with organized tasks, kind of laying out every single step of what they need to do in some kind of documentary spreadsheet. In that way, you can have a pretty solid way of tracking.

  4. I think depending on the genre / topic – it would be very important to find a writer with the same tone of voice as to the rest of your existing articles / blog posts. I totally agree that finding the right person with excellent English in vital, but pretty close behind that for me is the new writer understanding the importance of the tone. I’m happy to do some editing, but not if I’m paying at the higher end. I appreciate your post having solid options all in one place – I will be sharing this article with my other blogger friends. Thank you.
