  2. It helps your articles and pages rank higher in search engines. You won’t have to spend money on pay-per-click (PPC) adverts if you do it correctly.

Google Keyword Planner

In order to use the google keyword planner, you must have a Google Ads (previously as Google AdWords) account and log in on it. Then click tools and pick keyword planner. See the picture below:

Commercial Intent

This is a group of 4 categories:

  1. Buy now keywords – These are the keywords that use for purchasing some things. Example: Buy, Coupon, Discount, Deal, Shipping
  2. Product Keywords – These are searches that focus on a category, brand, or service. Example: Review, Top 10, Best, Brand name, Product name, Cheap, Expensive, Price, Affordable, Comparison
  3. Information Keywords – These are the searches that are looking for a tutorial, ways to do something, and to get information on a certain topic. Example: How to, the Best way to, Ways to
  4. Tire kicker keywords -These are searches where you want to find something or get the files. Example: Free, Torrent, Download, …. for free

There is a free browser toolbar that evaluates keywords, it is MozBar. Use it and you will see the information in each keyword you search.

If you’re serious about SEO, you should strongly consider investing in a keyword research tool. The research tool is for regenerating keywords. It is good to find the best keyword for your topic, blog, forum, website, etc.
