Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers, Product Overview | What is Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers?
This is a course by Carly (i.e. owner of Mommy on Purpose) with 4 main sections that teach you to step by step how to make money blogging using affiliate marketing.
The course uses mostly screencast videos so you’ll be able to see Carly’s screen and follow along with her explanations.
It also really highlights the importance of building a solid e-mail list. I know I know that you’ve heard that one before but the difference is that Carly will show you exactly how she builds and uses her e-mail list in order to make money.
She goes through a case study where she made over 5k in 1 e-mail campaign and you’ll get to see exactly how she did it so you can replicate it for your blog.
Everything in the course is also written out in the text as well as in video format so you can learn and solidify the concepts in whichever format you feel the most comfortable.

Con #1: This is a slow process – it takes time to build organic traffic to your blog (whether you’re using Google or Pinterest).
Con #2: If you want the same results as Carly, you also need to get her Pinteresting Strategies course because she gets at least 50% of her traffic from Pinterest.
Con #3: No support.
Who is Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers for?
#1: Bloggers who have traffic and want to start monetizing with affiliate marketing
If you have traffic, this is the perfect course for you because it will teach you tips and tricks on how to make the most of the affiliate links on your posts.
#2: Bloggers who are not making money from their affiliate links
If you’ve been trying affiliate marketing but it’s not working for you, you’ll learn why and how to fix it.
#3: Bloggers who want to learn how to up-level their income through e-mail marketing with affiliate links

What if I don’t have enough traffic?

This is Carly’s most expensive course and I do think that what makes it worthwhile is the e-mail marketing section.
I’ve seen bloggers charge upwards of 5 figures (YES, that’s right – pretty crazy) for how to build an e-mail list. Of course, they always complicate things and include all sorts of fancy programs and this and that.
You do NOT need all of that in order to build a solid e-mail list and one that will convert your audience into buyers.
My Final Opinion of Affiliate Marketing for Bloggers
I think that if you’ve tried affiliate marketing and you feel like it’s just not working for you but you don’t know how to make it work for you, then you should invest in this course.
There’s a reason why it looks so easy for some people – they’ve all had someone teach them what actually works!
This course is all about getting conversions. Yes, you need traffic but you can make sales with limited traffic if you know all the right things to do.
Lots of people stick affiliate links in their blog posts BUT not a lot of people can make a full-time income that way
